Suncoast is one of only two schools in Florida to earn this recognition.

The school has made teaching financial literacy a priority of its curriculum. By incorporating Wise’s award-winning program, students have been empowered to take control of their future and ensure that they are able to achieve financial well-being. In doing so, students at Suncoast High School performed among the highest in the nation on W!se’s standardized Financial Literacy Certification Test.

First established in 2003, W!se’s award-winning Financial Literacy Certification program provides teachers with a curriculum and instructional resources to teach personal finance and measure students’ financial literacy through W!se’s Certification Test.
